Uninstall VirtualBox Guest Additions on a Linux Guest OS

If you’d like to port a virtual machine from VirtualBox e.g. to parallels, you need to uninstall the guest additions. This is how it works:

sudo /opt/VBoxGuestAdditions-${version}/uninstall.sh
